This provides excellent heat distribution and durability. The cooking surface is made from 18/10 stainless steel, which is non-reactive and resistant to rust and staining.
All-Clad D3: This line is very similar to the Stainless collection, with a three-layer construction of two layers of stainless steel around a core of aluminum. The main difference is in the design and look of the pans, with D3 models often having more ergonomic handles.
All-Clad D5: The D5 line takes the three-layer construction of the Stainless and D3 collections and adds two more layers. These pans have a five-layer construction: a core of stainless steel, surrounded by two layers of aluminum, all encapsulated by two outer layers of stainless steel. This design enhances the pans’ heat distribution and retention.
All-Clad Copper Core: As the name suggests, pans in the Copper Core collection feature a layer of copper at their core. The full construction is five layers: stainless steel, aluminum, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel. The copper layer provides even more precise temperature control, making these pans excellent for delicate tasks like making sauces.
