I’ve been extensively covering infuser machines for more than 2 years and one of the top selling infusers that really is in a category all in its own is the one from LEVO.
I decided to review their newer version, the LEVO II (2) to help you figure out if it’s the right option for you, if it’s worth the upgrade, or if it’s the machine you should start with if you’re a newbie.

WHAT'S THE LEVO II ALL ABOUT
The LEVO II was designed to simplify the process of making infused oils, butters, tinctures, cookies, cakes, gummies, vitamins, and so much more. It’s actually an upgraded version of the original LEVO, with several new features and improvements. Here’s a breakdown of the top 4 features I think are important to note.
The Infusion Process
The LEVO II uses a patented method of infusion that allows you to customize the temperature, time, and method of infusion to create the perfect infusion every time. It can infuse oil, butter, and tincture with herbs, fruits, or any other botanical ingredient – including cannabis (duh!).
The Design
This one has a sleek, modern design with a touchscreen display that makes it easy to set the temp and time for infusion. It also has a built-in stirrer that ensures your ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the infusion process helping to really turn you into a total pro!
The Capacity
This newer version has a larger capacity than the original LEVO, allowing you to make up to 19 ounces of oil, butter, or tincture at a time.
The APP Connectivity
You can now connect to the LEVO app, which allows you to control the infusion process from your phone or tablet. The app also has recipes and infusion ideas to give you some inspiration and ideas to test out.
HOW TO USE THE LEVO II
I always recommend to follow their instructions completely to make sure your recipe/concoctions come out the best. As with everything, a lot of this will be trial and error until you find what works best for you. However, here’s a quick (ish) 10 step guide on how to use the new LEVO II.
1. Choose Your Ingredients: Decide on the ingredients you want to use for your infusion, such as herbs, fruits, cannabis – you name it.
2. Preheat the LEVO II: Turn it on and select the temperature and time settings for your infusion. This one can be set to infuse at temperatures ranging from 95°F to 205°F, and for up to 10 hours.
3. Prepare Your Ingredients: Depending on what you plan on making, prepping your ingredients can make all the difference. Finely chop or grind your ingredients before placing them in the machine. If you’re infusing with dry herbs, it’s recommended to decarboxylate them first for optimal potency.
4. Add Ingredients to the Reservoir: Add your ingredients to the ceramic-coated reservoir and be sure to leave some space at the top for the stirrer to move around.
5. Add Your Carrier: Add your carrier oil or butter to the reservoir, enough to cover your ingredients completely.
6. Start the Infusion Process: Place the reservoir onto the base of the LEVO II, and press the start button to begin the infusion process. It’s showtime!
7. Stirring: The LEVO II has a built-in stirrer that ensures your ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the infusion process.
8. Straining: After the infusion process is complete, the LEVO II comes with a filter bag that can be used to strain the infused oil or butter.
9. Dispense: Use the built-in dispensing spout that makes it easy to dispense your infused oil or butter.
10. Cleanup: You’re ready to clean things up! It’s actually easy to clean, with dishwasher safe components and a removable reservoir for quick and easy cleaning.
THE PROS & CONS
As with all my reviews, there are pros and cons that are somewhat subjective but are important to add so you know what to expect, what you may appreciate, and what may give you some hesitance in making the purchase.
What I Love:
- Customizable Infusion Process: It allows you to customize the temperature, time, and method of infusion to create the perfect infusion based on what you’re creating.
- Large Capacity: It has a capacity of up to 19 ounces, making it perfect for making larger batches of infused oils, butter, or tincture – you name it.
- Pretty Easy to Use: I like the user-friendly interface and overall it’s pretty foolproof especially for beginners.
- Clean-Up is a Breeze: Unlike some others on the market, this one has dishwasher-safe components and a removable reservoir for easy cleaning.
Just a Heads-Up:
- It’s Expensive: This one is relatively expensive compared to other ones on the market, but I feel like you can’t compare the quality!
- Noise: Some felt like it could be a bit noisy during the stirring process, which may be a concern for you, although I wasn’t overly phased.
- Limited Warranty: It comes with a one-year limited warranty, which is great but based on the price I was hoping it would be extended by an additional year or two.
- Large Size: Overall it’s relatively large and may take up a lot of counter space in smaller kitchens. I have to admit, however, that it looks so sleek it looks great on my counter.

One thing is for sure, especially when comparing it to other infusers on the market, LEVO has the biggest color selection – and something that you’ll want to proudly display on your kitchen counter.

IS THE LEVO II REALLY WORTH IT?
So, here we are. It’s time to answer the question of the hour – is the LEVO II really worth it?
While this may not be the most popular answer, figuring out if it’s worth it really comes down to a matter or personal preference. The one outlier that may sway some to not want to purchase it, is the price. It’s definitely expensive and if you don’t think you’re going to use it often, you can probably find something comparable for much less.
However, price aside there really are so many reasons why I feel like the LEVO II is totally worth it (price and all, actually).
1. Convenience: It really simplifies the process of making infusions at home, eliminating the need for messy stovetop methods or complicated equipment (and who even has that, really?!). The machine is easy to use and requires minimal hands-on time, allowing you to infuse oils, butter, and tinctures with ease.
