We all know there are so many online streaming options out there, but one of our favorites is Hulu. Plus, we were basically able to to “try before we buy” thanks to their free trial promo. Read on!
Our Take:
We’re not going to lie. We’re a little behind the 8-ball when it comes to signing up for Hulu. We already had Netflix and Amazon Prime. It wasn’t until, unfortunately, the Coronavirus Pandemic swept across the world that we found ourselves sitting at home watching thousands of hours of television. It was time to give Hulu a try. And, truly, we were totally surprised.
Not only do they have some of the best shows ever (read: Handmaid’s Tale), but they also have some great movies and full seasons of some of our favorite TV shows that we can watch one right after the other. And did we mention that have just about every episode of Saturday Night Live? We could all use some laughter these days so we sorted through some of our favorites.

Plus, when our insomnia sets in (just about 4 times a week) and we’re up from 3am – 6am we typically kick on season 1 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and then just work our way up to the present day. Er, we may also do that with all the Housewives franchises. Don’t judge us.
When we originally signed up our thought was to take their free trial promotion and then just cancel after the month was up. However, we decided to just keep going because there really are so many amazing things to watch on there and we’ve only just begun! So even if you do have a bunch of other streaming services, we definitely recommend giving Hulu a try. It kind of puts all the rest to shame!
The Deal With the Deals:
Ok so there really aren’t sales per say, however if you’re looking for pretty much the ultimate deal you can’t go wrong with their free trial that we mentioned up above. The only other deal we found is that currently they have this great deal where you can bundle Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ for just $12.99/month. It checks off all our boxes and saves us some money all at the same time. We’re in! As with all sales and deals, make sure to check them out directly to ensure all are still current and offered today.
To Gift or Not to Gift:
So this is a tough one for us. Not because we think you shouldn’t gift a Hulu subscription, but at the time of our review you can’t purchase a gift card directly through them. We wish you could because it would make it easier. In the meantime, you can can an official and approved gift card online at Best Buy right here. Then you can use that to gift your favorite loved ones.
To Deal With Promo Codes:
While we don’t have any exclusive Hulu promo code offers here, they’re not really known to have a ton of different promo codes or coupons when subscribing. We checked out a ton of other sites and while they’re listed, um, we didn’t see any that actually worked. Such is life.
