If you haven’t checked out Igloo Coolers in a while, it’s officially time. They have new hard coolers that’ll rival even the biggest of competitors and their color selection is amazing. I found some of the best options from them, their current sale, and answering the question “what’s up with their coupon code policy, anyway?!”
IGLOO has been around since 1947 and really was the cooler staple in every household for years. We basically all had that little red cooler with the white top that our parents would bring to the beach filled with sandwiches and soda (simpler times). But, IGLOO has really come a long way since then and they have more than just those coolers.
Now you know I’m a big fan of YETI. I’ve covered them for year now, most recently including their beach coolers. I’m also a fan of the RTIC cooler brand too (especially with their prices – even without a promo code), but IGLOO has an entire line of hard coolers and, now, tumblers and drinkware that really does rival some of the most viral cooler brands around. Plus, their color selection is pretty top-notch. The “industrial yellow” is sure to brighten up your day and my personal favorite. And their prices are actually totally refreshing.

When comparing overall average pricing to some other brands, IGLOO comes in around 15% – 20% cheaper. What I found even more interesting is that their coolers can keep things cold (and your ice still existing in the cooler) for up to 4-days! And many of their tumblers, cups, and water bottles can keep cold beverages cold for up to 14 hours and hot beverages nice and hot for up to 12 hours.
When it comes to things like sales, deals, and even coupons – yes IGLOO does have them. Their sales are pretty rad, where some of their best sellers are marked up to 30% off their original prices. There are certain times of the year where the deals are at their best – mainly Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Last year they were offering 35% off site-wide. I love a site-wide sale because you’re not limited to just some merch they may be getting rid of to make room for the newbies.
IGLOO does accept coupons at checkout (you just can’t stack them with other offers) and similar to YETI (and their strict promo code policy) IGLOO will only give out codes directly from their site. The best coupon offer that I’ve seen and personally have used) is their 10% offer when you sign up for their emails. It takes two second to do. Enter in your email address and they’ll send you your own code (no sharing!) for that extra 10% off your current order or future order.
If you follow them on Instagram, that’s where you can also find some really decent giveaways (they were giving away a Jeep!), some of their new color releases, and any additional promo codes (like getting a free gift, etc) as well. It’s worth the follow for sure.
At this time I wasn’t able to find a student discount or military discount, but if that changes I’ll update this review!
