It’s the age old question, “Does Canada Goose ever go on sale?!” Well, I looked into this and my findings may surprise you a bit, especially with some of the overall sales happening this Labor Day 2024!
CANADA GOOSE TOP 3 DEALS
If you’ve been following me here at Trendsicle for a while now, you know I love to find a deal on just about anything I’m obsessed with. I’ve made it my life’s mission to find deals on just about anything from YETI and Ooni, so it only made sense I looked into what deal is with the controversy surrounding Canada Goose and their sales…or lack-there-of.
As one of the world’s leading producers of luxury down outerwear, Canada Goose has a reputation for super high quality and craftsmanship that is second to none. For more than 60 years, they’ve been committed to producing the highest quality products, using the finest materials and skilled workmanship.
Today, they’re recognized as a global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance outerwear. The company’s products are sold in over 50 countries around the world, and its jackets, parkas, vests and gloves are worn by some of the world’s most accomplished explorers, athletes and celebrities – heck, even Oprah loves their down jackets! But since we don’t all have Oprah’s bank account, finding a good sales price on just about anything from Canada Goose becomes essential (for me at least!) and with any luck we’ll find something on sale during the Labor Day Weekend sale event!
DOES CANADA GOOSE EVER GO ON SALE?!
I researched their sale policy a bit and if you’re buying directly from their site or their store they don’t have sales events, like at all. This includes Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Anniversary Sales, end of year – you get it. According to Canada Goose direct,
We are proud of the high-quality products we manufacture, and we stand behind the workmanship and expertise that goes into creating each parka, sweater, lightweight down jacket and accessory we make. As such, we never hold Canada Goose sales or Black Friday discounts, either on our website or in our stores."
I know. I’m gutted. But the good news is that there are some approved retailers that not only carry Canada Goose jackets, hats, etc – but at times they’ll even mark down the prices and, dare I say, actually go on sale. Typically if any of these retailers have coupons or promo codes, they won’t apply to Canada Goose (they’re excluded), but they’ll markdown some of their merch throughout the year. At times, I’ll see this happen at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks, and Back Country.
I would always recommend that if the price ever looks “too good to be true” it probably is! If you’re getting more than 20% off, that’s almost unheard of, so be careful. And any site that you’ve never heard of that’s marking Canada Goose down by 50% or more, you can almost guarantee it’s some kind of scam.
THE BEST TIME TO SCORE A DEAL ON A CANADA GOOSE JACKET
Like I said, since sales are going to be limited and they’re not discounting their coats and accessories during major events during the year that many other retailers have major sales like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Labor Day, after Christmas or even during the summer (ugh, that’s a lot), right now may be one of the best times to pick up one of their famous jackets.
