Pocket Pearl is Rhode's $16 mini blush, a less-than-half-size Pocket Blush with a shimmery finish and a loop on the cap so it clips to a bag. It launched September 15 in three shades, and Gemini, the candy pink, sold out within a day, along with the carabiner, the butterfly charm and the Sweet Apple lip tint. Monet (apricot) and Monaco (terracotta) are still in stock at Rhode for $16. Don't pay the $50 to $100 eBay is asking. Pick one of the two that's left, or wait.

Every Pocket Pearl Shade, And Which Ones Are Left
All three shades came out of Rhode's collaboration with Alexandra Leclerc, the model and art historian who's now the brand's first official ambassador. The pink went first, which is exactly what you'd expect from a Rhode launch; Monet and Monaco were both still available when I checked.

The Rest Of The Collection
The blush is the headline, but the reason it's a bag charm at all is the two clips that launched alongside it, and those went even faster than Gemini. Everything below was sold out on Rhode's site within three days of launch.

The Gemini listings on eBay are running $71 to $100, which is four to six times the $16 price for a blush the size of a lip balm. That's the scarcity tax and at least it's for something you can't buy anymore.
What's harder to excuse is Monet at $49.99 on the same page while Rhode is selling it for $16. Both remaining shades are one click away at retail, so check the two buttons at the top of this page before you touch a resale listing. If Gemini is the only one you'll accept, the waitlist on Rhode's site is free and the eBay price will only come down from here.
Rhode's Pocket Blush formula, the cream blush with peptides and tamanu oil, shrunk to 2.5 g and given a reflective shimmer finish it never had before. The cap has a loop so the whole thing hangs off a carabiner, a keychain or the butterfly charm. Three shades, all limited edition, all $16.
What Pocket Pearl Actually Is
Rhode's Pocket Blush is a cream blush in a squat little pot with a satin, diffused finish, and it's one of the products Rhode is best known for. Pocket Pearl takes that formula, cuts the size from 5.3 g to 2.5 g, adds a reflective shimmer, and changes the cap so it has a loop. That loop is the whole idea. Clip it to the carabiner or the Flutter Charm and it hangs off a bag, which is why it sold like a bag charm instead of a blush.
It's the same hydrating base underneath: peptides and tamanu oil, a lightweight cream that melts in with a finger and lasts the day. The difference on the cheek is the pearl. Where the regular Pocket Blush gives a satin, diffused flush, these three catch light, so Gemini is a candy pink with a glow, Monet is an apricot that leans golden, and Monaco is a terracotta that reads warmer and deeper than the other two.
The collection is Rhode's first with Alexandra Leclerc, who was the brand's first muse in its 2024 fall Lip Case campaign and is now its first official ambassador. It launched Tuesday, September 15 at 9 a.m. Pacific as a rhodeskin.com exclusive, and by Wednesday the pink, the clips and the lip tint were gone.
What You Should Actually Pay
$16 is the number. There's no version of this where paying more makes sense while two shades are sitting in stock at Rhode. Here's the scale for whatever price you're looking at.

Sellout Timeline
- September 9, 2026Rhode announces the Alexandra Leclerc collection: Pocket Pearl in three shades, the Sweet Apple lip tint, the Flutter Charm and the carabiner.
- September 15, 9 a.m. PTEverything goes live on rhodeskin.com. No Sephora, no international retailers.
- September 16Within 24 hours Gemini, the carabiner and the Sweet Apple lip tint are sold out.
- September 18The Flutter Charm and Alexandra's Set are gone too. Monet and Monaco remain in stock at $16. Gemini resale on eBay is $71 to $100.
Who It's For
- You wanted Gemini and you're flexible. Monet is the lighter of the two that are left, and it's $16, not $71.
- You already like Pocket Blush and want the shimmer version. Same formula, new finish, and the mini is the only way to get it.
- You're buying it as a gift or a stocking stuffer. It's $16, it's Rhode, and it's the kind of thing that's hard to find by December.
- You have a bag-charm habit. Even without the sold-out clips, the cap loop works with any keyring you already own.
- You want a matte or satin blush. Pocket Pearl only comes shimmery. The regular Pocket Blush at Sephora is the satin one.
- You're comparing on value. The full-size is 5.3 g for $25. The mini is 2.5 g for $16. The math isn't close.
- It has to be Gemini. Don't pay $71 on eBay for a 2.5 g blush; join the waitlist and let the resale price fall.
- You wanted the charm, not the blush. The carabiner and the Flutter Charm are both sold out, and the blush alone is just a small pot.
Rhode Pocket Pearl FAQ
The Bottom Line: If you want a Pocket Pearl, buy Monet or Monaco from Rhode for $16 while they last, because the pink is gone and the collection is limited edition, so the other two aren't coming back once they sell through. Don't pay eBay $50 for Monet or $71 for Gemini; the first is in stock at retail and the second isn't worth four times the price for a 2.5 g blush. And if what you really wanted was the full formula, Sephora has the 5.3 g Pocket Blush for $25 in a dozen shades, no sellout required.
