Once you go with Airbnb you pretty much won’t travel any other way ever again. Really. We’ve been using them for years and have had some really amazing experiences. Check out their latest promotions!
If it’s one thing we’ve missed out on lately it’s been traveling. After being in quarantine for what seemed like 3 years, we’re all ready to check all those trips right off our Bucket List. And since we missed out on so many trips in the past (or they were just canceled due to Covid) this time around where booking a pretty luxurious accommodation from Airbnb.
Let’s face it, travel has gotten so much better since Airbnb came around. If staying in a boring (and outdated) hotel isn’t really your jam, you’ve most likely gone the way of basically renting a home, an apartment, or even a room or two. It’s the best way to feel a bit more at home when you’re away traveling.
For us, booking an Airbnb came in handy when we were traveling to Austin, TX to take part in SXSW. All the hotels were booked and the ones that weren’t had priced through the roof. Luckily, after we found them we were able to book an entire home (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, outdoor space, etc). This home was something we could only have dreamed of living in, but now we were actually doing it.
Outside of the home being so kick-ass, we felt confident when booking it because we were able to read the reviews, hear from people who actually stayed there, and even speak with the owner once we were about ready to book. Now, a lot of time booking a home gets a lot of flack from hotel-lovers because they say you have to do everything yourself. Not true! Well, not always true.
Our host actually stocked the fridge with beers, fresh fruit, and had a Keurig coffee machine ready to go with fully stocked coffee for the entire week of our stay. He also stopped by a few times (after asking us if it as ok – it was) and dropped off some fresh salsa he had just bought at the market along with a couple bottles of his favorite wine. Now we’ve never received anything like that from any hotel we’ve ever stayed in.
If you’re staying by yourself, sure, maybe none of this makes sense for you, financially. But if you’re staying with your family, a group of friends, or even some co-workers, it really can be such an awesome experience. It was for us and we can’t recommend Airbnb enough!
The Deal With the Deals:
We hate to report that there really aren’t any Airbnb deals we could find. Overall you can find some really great (and low) prices on select stays in various cities inside and outside the US. We’ve listed some of those below. If you’re looking for a “sale” of sorts – no dice.
To Gift or Not to Gift:
Heck yeah! Gifting someone something from Airbnb makes the perfect gift! We’ve even added them to a bunch of our existing gift guides, but in the meantime we put together this brief guide on some of the people/events these make excellent gift options for:
- College Graduation – They’re ready to backup Europe so help them on their way – See it here
- The Bride & Groom – A gift card to help pay for their honeymoon or future trip – See it here
- Bridemaids – The perfect way to say thank you for all their support – See it here
- Groomsmen – It’s never to late for the ultimate bachelor party – See it here
Let them choose from home/room bookings, getaways, amazing experiences, and more. Totally unique gift ideas everyone will love!
The Deal With Promo Codes:
Finding actually working Airbnb coupon codes aren’t always an easy thing to come by. That’s mainly because they don’t offer them. Bummer, we know. We don’t offer any here either, which is a double-bummer. Some discount sites offer a ton of codes, but they never seem to work, right?
Overall, there are some great ways save on your next stay like referring a friend where you can get up to $65 off your next stay or even getting up to$40 off for first-time travelers. Hey, it all adds up, right? Either way, here’s their official and active promo offers.
